Course description

This program is beneficial to existing bands or worship teams who already have live performance experiences but want to improve the band as a whole. The program consists of both lecture and ensemble workshop formats. An instructor will cater the program to the band's specific needs and prepare lectures on subjects like "how to prepare for a band rehearsal", "how to play and sound in unison as a band", "the importance of eye contacts and cues" etc. In the ensemble workshop format the instructor will prepare songs for the band to rehearse and perform on stage at PI. The instructor will then critique and give advice after each performance to correct any inefficient habits and areas where the band as a whole can improve.

This program is not suitable for beginners. The focus of the course is to improve the band as a whole, not individual players. Therefore, instructors for this course will only focus on band performance instead of each individual player's ability.
